Innovacar's SiNH Hybrid Coat is a state-of-the-art professional water repellent nanotechnology treatment for cars developed with Innovacar's exclusive Si-N-H technology.

This ceramic coat is the ideal solution to achieve a perfect balance between the inorganic part, which is typical of base coats, providing enhanced protection and making the treatment more resistant, and the organic part, which is typical of top coats, which increases water repellency.

By using a single product and with just one application step you can get both advantages, speeding up the job and reaping the benefits of a complete nanoceramic treatment.

Main features*:

  • Water repellency and self-cleaning properties: thanks to its water repellent, antistatic and dirt-repellent effects, it allows for low and easy maintenance;
  • Certified long life: tests performed in certified external laboratories have monitored changes in gloss (ISO 20566:2013) and surface hydrophobicity in both automatic and manual wash cycles, demonstrating that the product is expected to last up to approximately 4-5 years (75,000 km or up to 72 manual or automatic washes).
  • It does not require IR lamps: it has a fast drying time of about 20 minutes at room temperature (23°C) and 50% humidity, which means it can be applied even without using IR lamps;
  • Easy to use: it is a professional ceramic treatment, but is easier to use and apply than other products in its category;
  • Regeneration: at high temperatures, for example in the sun and in summer, it allows micro-scratches to self-repair;
  • Absorbs shocks better: it simulates the effect of a PPF protective film to absorb shocks and cause less damage, especially when layered 2-3 times;
  • Resistance to abrasion tests performed in external certified laboratories, which simulate car washing at an automatic car wash using an alkaline prewash and quartz powder, have shown that it is two times more resistant to abrasion than a surface that was not treated in accordance with ISO 20566:2013;
  • Greater resistance to washing: because of its special features, the tests performed have shown that it is resistant to manual or automatic washing cycles;
  • Gloss and colour depth: it enhances colour depth and has a gloss effect that makes the bodywork shine;
  • Weather protection: the treated surface is resistant to UV radiation, corrosion and high temperatures;
  • Suitable for different types of surfaces: it can be used on bodywork, rims, aluminium, steel and plastic parts;
  • Suitable for matt varnishes,PPF and wrapping: it is also suitable for use on matt varnishes, PPF protective films or wrapped machines and vehicles;
  • Suitable for all types of vehicles, it can be used on cars, motorbikes, bicycles and boats.
  • Safety: it is PFAS free and complies with the content requirements for volatile organic compounds (VOC) in accordance with Directive 2004/42/EC and with the analysis method in compliance with UNI EN ISO 11890-1:2008;

The application and user-friendly properties of SiNH products ensure less product application on the car, namely 30 ml of product corresponds to 50 ml of the traditional ceramic coatings available on the market

*The washing cycles indicated are the result of tests conducted by two independent external laboratories. The first test was performed to check whether the contact angle had changed compared to the initial condition, with washing cycles using SP1 Prewash; the second test was conducted to check whether the coating persisted after automatic washing cycles, with the use of a chemical product and quartz powder in compliance with ISO 20566:2013;

* The specified durability in terms of time and kilometres for the entire Innovacar coating product line is based on the results of stress tests performed on site with the support of our national and international partners in various parts of the world.
 The tests were performed under extremely different climatic/environmental conditions:

  • Mumbai (India): because of the fact that it is a metropolis with a high level of smog and has a tropical climate
  • Moscow (Russia): because of its very cold temperatures
  • Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates): because of its torrid climate and frequent sandstorms.
  • Major European capitals: where weather and road conditions are certainly more “standard”;
  • Throughout the tests, washing took place on average once a month. However, it was not always possible to follow the steps of the Innovacar coating maintenance programme recommended by us, which allowed us to simulate the worst case scenario.
    The results achieved and the feedback received from our partners show that the weighted average one-year life of our coatings is equal to approximately 15,000 km.

    How to optimally apply the nanoceramic treatment to the car’s bodywork:

    It is recommended to:

    • Preferably apply the product in a temperature controlled environment ranging from +5 °C to 25 °C, free from contamination and with controlled humidity;
    • Apply the product in a well-lit environment.
    • Frequently replace the Micron Suede;
    • Use Micron 2F: the low pile part to remove 80-90% of the product and the long pile part to finish it off;
    • Change the Micron 2F often, every 2 panels on average;
    • Do not treat the surface with dirty or worn cloths.
    • For maximum efficiency, use Innovacar maintenance products only.

    Step 1 - Preparing the car (to be carried out if not previously done):

    1. Prewash with SP1 Prewash or similar products.
    2. Wash with S2 Foamy to clean the surface.
    3. Proceed to chemically decontaminate the surface from tar using D3 Tar, from ferrous residues using D1 Iron and from limescale using DS Scale;
    4. Then mechanically decontaminate the surface with Clay Bar (or Clay Mitt), using DL Lube;
    5. If necessary, polish the car to remove any defects and achieve a perfectly smooth surface;
    6. Remove any traces of residual oil with D2 check;
    7. Visually check the car to make sure it is perfectly decontaminated and clean, and therefore ready for applying the protective treatment.

    Step 2 - Application of the ceramic coating:

    1. Apply a few drops of SiNH Hybrid Coat to the Micron Suede wrapped around the Foam App Block.
    2. Apply the product using the Criss-Cross method (at least 3 times), treating one panel at a time (approximately 50x50 cm);
    3. Allow to polymerise for at least 30 seconds (at high ambient temperatures) and up to a maximum of 2 minutes (at low ambient temperatures), before removing any excess product, if necessary by smoothing with a Micron Buffing Wipe;
    4. If excess product is not properly removed from the surface within 10 minutes, the product can be reapplied, making sure to even it out;

    Stage 3 - Cross-linking of the protective barrier:

    1. After 4 hours, apply the final coat of SC0 Hydro Sealant. This is the final protective layer that is intended to preserve the surface during the complete curing period;
    2. Wait 3-4 hours before leaving the vehicle outside and 7 days before leaving it out in the snow/rain or washing it again, as recommended in the Innovacar maintenance programme.

    Precautions: Use within 6 months of opening, carefully closing the bottle after use and storing the product in a dry place away from light and heat and at a temperature between 5 and 25°C . Always refer to the MSDS and the precautions and indications on the label. Always follow the Innovacar Cycle System for maximum performance and durability;
